Eligibility (As on 1 August 2025)
- Nationality: Only Indian citizens are eligible.
- Age Limit: 21 to 30 years (as of 1.8.2025). Candidates must be born between 2.8.1995 and 1.8.2004 (inclusive).

Those claiming reservation must submit valid caste/PwBD certificate as per government rules. No equivalent educational qualification is accepted.
Detailed Salary, Benefits, and Emoluments
- Basic Pay: ₹88,635/month (pay scale: ₹88,635–4,385(14)–1,50,025–4,750(4)–1,69,025)
- Gross Monthly Emoluments: Approx. ₹1,26,000 per month in A-class city (includes HRA, CCA)

- Guarantee Bond: 4 years minimum service required (incl. probation); else, ₹5,00,000 payback + indemnity deed.

Selection Process: Multi-Stage with Normalization
- Preliminary Exam (Objective; online; qualifying):
- Reasoning Ability: 35 Qs – 35 Marks – 20 min
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Qs – 35 Marks – 20 min
- English Language: 30 Qs – 30 Marks* (*qualifying only, not for ranking) – 20 min

- Reasoning Ability: 30 Qs – 90 Marks – 40 min
- General Knowledge, Current Affairs: 30 Qs – 60 Marks – 20 min

Pre-Exam Training (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD)
- Those wishing to attend training must register with the nearest Divisional Office within one week of online application close.
- Attendance and travel at user’s cost; training schedule/venue by LIC Divisional Office.
Exam Rules, Biometric & Iris Data Collection
- Valid call letter (with photo), valid original/photo copy ID, and matching appearance required.
- Biometric thumb and IRIS scan at entry/exit of main exam, at interview, and at joining.
- Spectacle and contact-lens users must comply with IRIS scan instructions. Visually impaired use biometric thumb.
- No mobile, calculator, watches, or electronic items allowed inside venue.
- Candidate is responsible for clean, undamaged biometric data capture; injury or refusal can disqualify.
If biometric/IRIS mismatch or non-participation at any stage—candidature is cancelled.
Scribe & Compensatory Time for PwBD
- Own scribe allowed for qualifying PwBD candidates (see official rules). Must not be a candidate for the same exam; must be from a different stream and not LIC employee.
- Compensatory time: 20 minutes/hour for eligible disabilities; only for pre-registered candidates.
- Visually impaired may opt for magnified screens; declaration by both candidate and scribe mandatory.
- Scribe’s qualification must be one step below that of the candidate.
- Misuse or undeclared scribe: Disqualification and legal action.

- Upload recent photo, scanned signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration with the text:

- Handwritten declaration must be in English, entirely by applicant (or thumb + typed by VI candidates).
